SO sorry that I didnt blog last night, but we were having one of the most amazing nights since I've been here.
Yesterday morning, we went to San Jose for church. The kids were so cute and we sang some for them. Good times in the neighborhood. We came back to the team house for lunch and then headed to the hospital. Wow was that covered in the Lord's provision. When we went in, we were praying over all the patients, their families, and anything else that they said they were struggling with. We gave out beanie babies and care packages and prayed over the new moms :). It was so cool to be praying over these people who came from who knows how far away for physical pain. We were demonstrating the Lord's love for them and praying for healing both physically and emotionally. There were just a lot of little things that happened that made it so obvious that we were supposed to be there.
We ran by the Nutrition Center and dropped off some baby crocs for the little feet there and got some icecream in the rain. Then we headed back home for dinner. After dinner we hung out and then had a devotional/worship time. It's kind of hard for me to explain how evident and tangible the Lord's presence felt last night as everyone was getting anointed with oil and prayed over. Gosh, it was awesome. Today was pretty sweet too. Currently, Jessica and I are sitting on the floor of our room just kickin it and writing this wonderful blog. Sorry if anyone got worried (Caleb, mom?) that we hadn't written. We are still ALIVE. No te preocupes.
Spenc is getting on later tonight to write about today, so I know you'll keep this window up on the computer mom.
Love y'all!
M.

Of course I am waiting for updates by the hour. I need a little dose of "Nica" every night before I go to bed. It is addictive but the Lord knows that it is a good kind of "habit". I call it my "Nic at night!". Rest and I know that what God has in store for tomorrow is just waiting to unfold. I love ya'll so much.
ReplyDeleteLove,
Mrs. Babs (Mom)
Morgan, Thanks so much for the update on the Nic Youth group. It was great hearing what God is doing with you and through you, and the Youth Group. It is hard sitting here at home not hearing from anyone, so I thank you so much for taking the time to write and include the youth team in your blog. I know it might be a lot to ask, but do you have a picture or pictures that you can download for all the parents to see? I understand if you don't but if you do, well, that would be great. And no not (Caleb, mom?), or maybe it was (Caleb, mom?) but definitely (Stephen's mom) is sending comments. Sorry if I sounded scared, or whatever, it is the first time he has been away -- and especially out of the country without us -- so it is hard. Keep up the good work and I look forward to more blogs from you and Spence. Thanks, and God Bless,
