Que me deciembre?!
ha, newest phrase that i've learned here in Nica. it means, "what'd you say to me?" in slang. sweet deal.
The past two days have been so good! On Tuesday we went to a town called Yaule which is like 10 minutes away from the team house, so close. We did home visits and went to pray with the people house to house. Then we went back to the church and did some VBS with the kids and presented the dramas to them.
Yesterday, Spenc and I had a much better time with the first grade class . They ended up taking the last hour of the class to go to a school across town to watch an Anne Frank documentary. Too bad Spenc and I had to walk home from there. WHEW. We went straight from that to going to meet up with the group at Nuestra Tierra for lunch. That afternoon we hung out with the kids while the men from the group worked on some construction stuff. We had a workout class/dance marathon with the kids and had such a blast!
And today, we took the group to the zipline in Granada. A WONDERFUL time was had by all. We went there in the morning and then went to Papa John's for lunch. Yum. After lunch we took them to the Market in Masaya. They loved it even though it was raining buckets.
After we dropped them off at the hotel around 4:30 Spenc fell right asleep for the long trip back to the team house. My IPOD was out of charge about halfway home so I listened to Little Raf and Carlos sing a wide variety of songs the rest of the way without any kind of break. Ha, it was great.
Well, I'm exhausted, and going to bed.
But know that we love you and that we are praying for y'all back at home!!
