So the dance party just ended, and now an intense game of mafia is going on. Always an end to a great day. This morning, Mo and I both walked for our last time to school. Tomorrow our group is coming with us to do VBS with the whole school. But anyways, we taught in the first grade special ed class today. Ha, and the teacher left shortly after we got there, so then Mo and I became the referees in the wrestling match that commenced among our 11 students. Little did we know, our teacher was preparing a special party for us. After 2 hours of chasing our little kids around a 10 by 10 room, our teacher came in and we went and had the special party. It was precious! Two of our students from each of our classes had a special thing to say to us in front of everybody, and then one of our girls BREAK DANCED for us. Yes, we got a video. And then they gave us gifts and we ate the sandwiches they made for us. Bologna and mystery sauce: the same thing we feed the kids in the villages we visit. It was one of the sweetest things I've experienced since we've been here.
After getting back to the team house, Mo and I quickly got ready to meet the team at La Pintada to work. But after waiting for a couple of hours for the truck to come and get us, we realized they weren't coming back to get us. So we had a chance to get all of the activities together for tomorrow at our school. Tonight we went and helped Little Rafe and the English Academy with his classes. It was fun to talk with his students. Well I'm off to play a game of Mafia!
Love you all so much,
Spence
